Pelvic organ prolapse
Pelvic organ prolapse is a disorder where the pelvic floor organs descend from their place. Pelvic floor organs include bladder, uterus, vagina, small bowels and rectum. Cystocele (prolapse of bladder in vagina), Urethrocele (prolapse of urethra), Uterine prolapse, vaginal vault prolapsed, enterocele (small bowels prolapse) and rectocele (rectum prolapse) are different types of pelvic organ prolapse.
Urinary incontinence is leaking of urine due to loss of control on bladder. This disorder is natural to aging.In less severe cases urine leaks after a cough or sneeze. In severe cases it gets embarrassing as the urine lease anytime and anywhere.Urinary incontinence is a symptom caused by day-to-day habits or underlying medical conditions.Conditions like urinary tract infection, constipation, pregnancy, childbirth, menopause, hysterectomy, enlarged prostate, prostate cancer and neurological disorders cause urinary incontinence.
